Born in a musical family, DIvyansh has taken the basic knowledge of Hindustani Classical Music (Vocals) from his father Shri Govind Verma ji.
Further, he found interest in santoor (shat tantra veena) and then started learning santoor from the renowned santoor player of our country Padmashri Pt. Bhajan Sopori ji of Sufiyana Gharana in Guru Shishya Paramapara.

He follows the patterns of “Sufiyana Gharana” Kashmir- the only Gharana of Santoor. In which the gayaki and tantrakari ang both is being given the
preference while playing and also the clearness of the raga.
