Shahana Goswami

Shahana Goswami was born on 6th May 1986 in Delhi, she is an Indian actress but now settled down in Paris. She completed her graduation in Mumbai at Sophia college. Shahana was the house captain and sports champion in her school times. She was also National Artificial Wall Climbing and represented her school in athletics, badminton, basketball, and volleyball at the Zonal level. Shahana was also trained for 10years in Odissi under Guru Padmashri Kiran Segal and has travelled and performed extensively with her dance company. Shahana has wanted to be a professional actor since childhood. She moved to Mumbai after her graduation and found every possible way to fulfil her acting dream. Her first step towards her career was at Jaimini Pathak’s theatre group working title, later she started as a production assistant and then acted in productions of Seagull and Arabain Nights. She also played a small role of Boman Irani’s daughter in Reema Kagti’s Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. Shahana visited the production house for some other work. After seeing her work in this she gave an audition for the lead role in percept picture company Ru Ba Ru, which was directed by Arjun Bali with Randeep Hooda as her co-star. She also auditioned for the film and got her big break in the role of Debbie. Her performance in this has earned several awards for being the Filmfare Best Actress award, which no supporting actress had won until then. She was then visible in the music video for Dido’s Let’s Do the Things We Normally Do as a taxi driver in Mumbai. She was also visible in a Fevicol commercial set in a village in Rajasthan. Shahana played the female lead role in Vara: A Blessing which was directed by Khyentse Norbu, which was shot in Sri Lanka. She also received an Asian Award for the best actress for her performance in this film. She also played a role in Heroine opposite Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, and Randeep Hooda. She debuted in the web platform through the MX player web series Thinkistaan as Roma in cameo roles in seasons 1,2,&3. She was also visible in the Last Hour on Amazon Prime, A Suitable Boy, and Bombay Begums on Netflix.

Plabita Borthakur

Plabita Borthakur was born on 17th June 1989, she is an Indian film actor, singer, and artist from Assam. Plabita’s father was an engineer by profession with Oil India Limited, not only this he was an Indian classical singer and teacher. Her mother was a writer and poet by profession. Her both older sisters are in the film industry and their names are Parineeta Borthakur and Priyangi Borthakur. She spent her entire childhood in the Oil India township of Assam before moving to Mumbai. She completed her graduation from Jai Hind College of Mumbai. Later she started her career by doing various assignments, bands of singing, manu, and Chow. Plabita is visible in many of the advertisements and after the ads of PayTm, she was known as a “PayTm Girl”. Plabita started her acting career from the movie PK, where she played the role of Anushka's sister. After that, she played a role in another Bollywood film where she was the main protagonist in Lipstick Under My Burkha. In 2017 she also appeared in The Kapil Sharma Show with Prakash Jha and Ekta Kapoor. While she is shooting for the films Waah Zindagi which is directed by Shivaza Films and Choote Nawab. She worked in one web series “What's Your Status” which was released in July 2018. She was also a part of a web series named Parchhayee which was released on 24th June 2019. Plabita played her last role in one of the web series called Breathe: Into the Shadows on Amazon Prime Video. She was recently shooting for one of the Netflix series Bombay Begums.
